About
Your Travel Planner is a mixture of travel tips, holiday ideas, reviews and personal travel experiences, produced by Ching Lee and Go2 Holiday Research Services.
I’m a personal travel planner, helping busy families and professionals to research and plan their holidays and business trips.
Please visit the Go2 Holiday Research website for more information about the service I provide.
Your Travel Planner is a blog where the aim is to share travel ideas, so please do comment, interact and let us know your travel experiences too.
A few words on how Your Travel Planner started
Being a personal travel planner means I get to know about places to stay, how to get there, where to look, and how to get the best deal. I also get to listen to people who want to share their travel experiences.
Inspired by a talk on ‘blogging’ at a local networking event, I realised that the ideal way of sharing all this information was a travel blog. I write most of the articles on this site, but people also give me their reviews of places they’ve been to or accommodation that they can personally recommend.
I’m thrilled how Your Travel Planner has been received and I hope it continues to grow as a main source of information for anyone planning or researching a holiday.
How Your Travel Planner is funded
All the articles written are based on research and personal experiences. It’s funded by my work as a personal travel planner (Go2 Holiday Research), but ‘affiliate links’ for travel companies and products are used on this site as well and these can also provide additional funding. These links look and work the same way as normal links, but if a reader clicks through, the link may generate a payment to Your Travel Planner from the travel company.
The links appear in articles (if the travel company or product forms part of the article and there is an affiliate link available) and in the Plan Your Travel and Special Offers pages.
Please know that the inclusion of links in no way influences the article. Articles on this site are written to inform and share personal travel tips and recommendations. The travel companies and products that have affiliate links on the Plan Your Travel and Special Offers pages are specially selected for their quality or good value products and services, many of which I or my clients have used.
You’ll see many sites that use affiliate links, but I feel that it’s important that Your Travel Planner is transparent with their use. It’s also worth pointing out that our articles also include normal, ‘non-affiliated’ links.
Your Travel Planner Email Club
As well as the articles you see on the site, readers can get additional travel tips by joining the Your Travel Planner Email Club. As a member, you get notified of any offers travel companies have, exclusive travel how-tos and quick travel news. I make it a policy that these email updates are short and quick to read, but useful and worthwhile. To join us, please sign up on the Join the Email Club page.
Thanks for your interest and Happy Browsing!
